About Me

Hi! My name is Diane and I'll be honest by saying that I'm not the greatest at marketing myself. I am, however, good at expressing what I value in life.

Let me start off by saying I am a freelance retoucher and photographer based in Sydney, Australia. I'm also a mother to two cheeky but sweet little kids.

Life - as I know it - can get quite challenging at times. And so I often remind myself of Leonardo Da Vinci's quote "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" in order to appreciate the value in the things we often overlook or take for granted.



It's easy to forget the little things which are often the things that really matter the most to us. We study or work tirelessly in order to better our lives; to secure our future or the future of our children; to create a life of experience, culture, and style. But amidst all the hard work, and all the studious efforts; amidst all the busyness is the risk of forgetting those really simple things.

As a photographer, I have a photojournalistic and organic approach to shooting. And my venture is to try to frame moments as naturally as possible, as they occur; to frame the beauty, even the perceived ugliness, the innocence, the emotion, the art or the abstract, that twinkle... and to preserve that moment.

As a retoucher and photo editor, my goal is to help you refine and elevate an image in order to achieve a vision. Whether it be for your business projects or for personal keepsakes, I would love to explore how I can help you with my skillsets.
